Slightly Disappointed...

Up front, I will agree that BestBuy.com stated at the time I was purchasing the item, that the item I purchased as a "Ship to Store", "Usually ships to store in 5 to 7 days".  I will not argue this, but I will say that I am surprise and disappointed.  I thought that would be a generic "what every company says" type thing.  I can honestly say that in the last 5-7 years, of all the stuff I have ordered online, I have never had anything I ordered take this long just to ship.  I ordered an item on the 17th of March, and here we are going on 6 days and it still hasn't shipped.

 

Surprising and disappointing.  Anything I have every ordered online, whether the item was big or small, or the company I ordered it from was big or small, near or far away has always SHIPPED at the latest the next business day.  I mean this is Best Buy we're talking about.  Probably the largest electronics retailer (definitely the largest and only electronics retailer where I live) and they can't meet the order and shipping standards of 90% of the other companies out there?  Really?!

 

I ordered from Best Buy because I thought (shame on me) having it shipped to the store would be faster (which has been the case before with OTHER companies).  For $5 more than what I paid for it on BestBuy.com, I could have ordered it from a very popular website that start with "A" and had it in my hands by Tuesday.

 

Like I said at first, BestBuy.com said 5-7 days, but never in a million years would I think that Best Buy as big and popular as it is would have such a slow and poor standard for shipping.

 

Oh well, I learned my lesson.  I guess if I can't go into the local Best Buy store and get it (which happens frequently) I will get it faster from other websites/companies.

 

I'm not sayin'...  I'm just sayin'...  :smileyfrustrated:

Thank you so much for posting and I am sorry to hear about the disappointment you’ve been through, considering that your order has been taken so long to ship.  I know that I would be frustrated if I had something that waited until the last day of the estimated shipping time to be shipped.

 

Using the email address you registered on the forums, I did find the order.  It does look like your order was from our expanded online assortment, which means that it can take longer to ship than normal (as you already know).  Although, according to what I can see, it does look like it has shipped and I will be sending you a private message with more information about your order.  To check your messages, you must be logged into the forums and click on the yellow envelope icon in the top right corner.
