Ship to Store taking WAY too long

I ordered a camera that is on sale 1 week ago. I have been needing a new camera for a long time, & I am about to fly out for my husbands graduation from Basic Training, & I wanted to have a decent camera to take pictures, because the one we have is not really that great. I ordered the camera 1 week ago, with the information that it would only take 5-7 days to ship to the store near me, so I figured that was plenty of time.

 

I got sent an email saying there is a delay & if they don't hear from me, that they will assume I'm ok with the delay. Well I called & while she was very nice they said there's pretty much nothing they can do. But I am NOT of with the delay, so this is the 2nd way I'm telling them. She said it had not even shipped yet. She suggested that I go to the store & get the same camera, but online it is marked way down, probably because of the color, but I didn't care about the color because it was such a great deal. The same model in a basic silver/black is quite a bit more $$$. The store does not offer that good of a model for the low price that is online.

 

I'm just frustrated because this is really annoying & it was suggested to me when I was checking out it would be faster to pick it up at the store than have it shipped to my house. I just wat my camera before Tuesday. I fly out Wednesday.

And they said my est. pick up date was 5/12

Being frustrated with how long this camera is taking to ship to this store is understandable, and I am honestly sorry that the representatives over the phone were not able to get this resolved for you. I did look into this, and it looks like you have now received this camera. If you need anything from me by all means post back to this thread.
