I got the same email and feel the same way. That SD card was the only reason I bought a nook from Best Buy instead of Barnes and Noble anyway. I thought it would be a great way to get some books for my mom (who will be receiving the nook as a Christmas present). Offering a free promotional item to get people to buy something from you and then canceling that order is a really crappy way to run a business. I can guarantee I will never buy anything from Best Buy again.

The Nook was a very nice gift for your mom for Christmas! I am very sorry to read that you were unable to get the promotional 2GB SD card that was to go with the gift.
Unfortunately, our BestBuy.com warehouses were unable to obtain additional units of these cards and therefore if an order could not be changed to a local store, it would need to be cancelled. That being said, I am currently looking into this further to see if there may be any other options to provide at this time. As soon as I know more, I will send you a private message here on the forum, which you can view by verifying you are logged into our forum, and then clicking the envelope icon in the upper right corner of this screen.

I also purchased a Nook eReader and had the 2gb micro SD card canceled from the order. I was promised a $25.00 gift card but that isn't coming either. I have been waiting for well over a week now. I have a case # but that doesn't seem to be helping either. I am promised a phone call and an email but I get nothing.
