3 hours? I have been waiting 3 DAYS!!!! I ordered an item for in-store pickup on saturday and it still says "waiting to confirm in stock bla bla bla" Well, guess what...it is in stock. I went to visit MY laptop which nobody in the store can give me because the system says I am being EVALUATED!!!

 

THIS IS BEYOND RIDICULOUS!!!!! I COULD HAVE GOTTEN THE LAPTOP CHEAPER ON n e w e g g . c o m  AND I WOULD HAVE HAD IT BY NOW!!!!!

 

I WOULDN'T SHOP AT BEST BUY ANYMORE EVEN IF THEY GAVE ME THIS LAPTOP FOR FREE!!!

Actually let me add more to this....you all should know the details. 

 

First, I went to the store after 5 hours, and they called corporate 3 times and they were told each time that the item cannot be released manually. They wanted to have me cancel the order and then come back in 5 days when the AUTH has cleared to I can buy it again, to which I said no, because I needed the laptop for today and not next week. Then, they told me "If you sign up for a BestBuy credit card, we can give you the laptop now." I actually agreed to this...why I do not know, and then they denied the credit card. So now, not only do I not have a laptop I need, I also shaved 20 points off my credit score thanks to this place. All of the employees in the store tried to help, but corporate told me I had to just wait. HOW LONG I ASK!!!! HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT?

Hello JaymZZZ,

I’m not quite sure why you wouldn’t have received a store pickup notification e-mail after three hours – let alone three days – but I can certainly imagine how frustrated you must feel if you have found this to be the case.  It’s been my experience that these e-mails typically arrive within 45 minutes (on average) of an order being placed during normal store hours, so your disappointment is certainly understandable.
