If I preorder a game from bestbuy.com, can I use a best buy gift card towards the purchase, after I place pre-order? 

When I go to pre-order, it asks for credit card info (which they charge when the game ships), and there's also a place for gift cards. I don't have the gift card with me, and won't get it until next week or so. Would I be able to enter the gift card code towards my preorder, instead of them charging the entire thing to my credit card, at a later time?

You have to have the gift card with you to preorder. No you can't change it to the gc once it is placed as an authorization gets charged to the credit card the day of preorder. You would need to wait to preorder til you have the gift card.

Hi Briguy!

As the previous post accurately points out, you would have to have the gift card at the time of pre-ordering the game in order to have it applied to that order.
