Hello,

I have a question about a backordered item that I ordered last week. I placed an order for the Sennheiser HD 25-1 II headphones (sku 8794539) during the midnight sale last week, and was informed the next morning that the item is backordered and there would be an estimated 1-2 week waiting period. While its only been a week, I am curious if there is an estimated restocking date. I called customer service and they cannot provide any estimated date for restocking of this item, and I am wondering if anyone else can share some info on how long it has taken for other items to be restocked, especially because this is an item that I know is still in production and readily available from other websites. I also want to add that the representatives I talked to on the customer support line were extremely friendly. There are a lot of upset posts in this form (warranted or not) and I thought I should comment on a positive interaction I have had with Best Buy

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I hope that your initial understanding is incorrect (because I would like this item), but I guess that would explain why the item was featured on the midnight sale, as a sort of "clearout" of an item that is not going to be carried any longer. It's also weird because I know this is a popular headphone... Anyways, I look forward to your PM.

Buy them elsewhere, that's really all you can do. I see several reputable online retailers that have them in stock for around $200. Maybe not the solution you were looking for, but it really seems like your best bet.
