I have made 2 attempts so far in applying for a job at Best Buy with their careers site, but each time i full go through it, I receive no confirmation email saying that i even applied. On the page in Firefox, the only button that's available after i'm finished with everything is Go Home, and after that, it brings me to the home page, as if i did nothing in applying. Normally there is an email that is sent saying thank you for applying, but i get nothing. I also setup a restart login, but there's no way i can acces that so i can see if it went through. What's going on, is Bestbuy.com jsut not compatible with Firefox on a Mac?

Bestbuy.com doesn't take applications. I wasn't aware that there was any confirmation email sent after you submitted an application to www.bestbuy-jobs.com, at least I never got any confirmation email when I applied a few years back.

Oh ok, i guess whatever the url is for their careers site. How long of a time should i give them call as an update to what i had submitted?

The way the application process works to the best of my knowledge, once you have submitted an application, if it passes the aptitude and other tests, it gets put into a pool with the other applications. When a store needs more manpower, they will pull the applications and call for interviews.
There isn't any confirmation that I'm aware of until the store you applied to needs manpower and begins contacting applicants. As to when/if you should call, that's entirely up to you. But at my store, they didn't look at applicants, whether they called or not, until they actually needed a spot filled.

Hmm, alright thanks for your help, it's just odd that there's no confirmation set in place for something like this.
