Is online price matching offered?   I only ask because I've been told that I cannot cash out my Best Buy gift cards that I got for Christmas that I did not want in the first place.  Yet I can find stuff I want a heck of a lot cheaper elsewhere.

No best buy does not price match online retailers.

Didn't figure but I could always hope.  I could get the same stuff at a regular store but can't price match because of no ads.  Just wish I could cash out those stupid cards or at least trade someone for a card from another store.

Well this is the reason why Best Buy just closed 50 of their stores and laid off 400+ people...AND had their CEO resign from his position...all because they won't or can't compete with the Amazon market. I'm sure their conversion rates are rock bottom considering a lot of people flock to Best Buy to check out the products then head home and buy it online.

I would give my business all day every day to Best Buy if they would only price match the largest online retailer in the country..

Hopefully a new CEO will realize they will not survive much longer in this economy with prices that do not compete with online retailers.
