I initiated a price match guarantee several weeks ago, but the Best Buy credit department has yet to process my request. Here's the timeline:
Today is day 10. It's also been 26 days since I initiated the price match request.
Incidentally, this purchase has yet to be posted to my Reward Zone account.
My family and I are very happy with the new TV. However, we are not happy with the inordinate amount of time it's taking Best Buy to process the price match.

This order is getting even weirder. Best Buy's system rescheduled delivery for Monday, even though I received it on Oct 23.
I definitely did not want the delivery guys to come again on Monday with another TV, so I called Best Buy and they cancelled the delivery. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they show-up anyway...

Good news! Best Buy processed my price match on Saturday, and it posted to my credit card account late yesterday. Also, Best Buy successfully cancelled the duplicate delivery.
Best Buy's Research Team called me Saturday morning to clear-up the confusion caused when my local Best Buy forgot to confirm that my TV was delivered last month. Apparently that delayed the price match process.
So just to confirm, BestBuy.com usually processes price matches 24-48 hours after the price-matched order is delivered?

I’m glad to hear that our website support staff was able to help you out! It’s typically been my experience that most price matches can be completed within 2-3 business days of an order being shipped, but as you may have discovered, delays may sometimes occur if delivery cannot be confirmed.

Thank you for clarifying the price match workflow. When I first requested the price match, I was just told 2-3 business days, not 2-3 days after delivery. So that omission, coupled with the delivery confirmation delay, led me to perceive a very long delay in the process.
Now that this has been resolved, I can fully enjoy the TV
