I pre-ordered some copies of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City for myself and some friends.  I paid with a debit card.  I looked at my bank account and saw that the order I made for my friends was pending and my balance was subtacted the amount of the purchase.  The I noticed it went away after a few days and I do not see the transaction at all anymore.  About two days ago I saw the transaction for the pre-order I made for myself two months prior.  Same thing, balance was subtracted.  Again I notice it went away and my balence went back up and I can't find the transaction anywhere.  This always happpen?  What is it?  Why?  Thanks.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for your post regarding your preorder of RE: Operation Raccoon! When you place your preorder through Bestbuy.com, an authorization for the amount of your order is put into your card, and then fully charged once the item ships.

With preorders, sometimes the authorization falls off and on depending on the length of time and your bank. For example, if you placed a preorder 6 months in advance, most likely the bank will "time out" the authorization, and Best Buy will put it back on again. I was able to pull up your order information with the email listed in your profile and everything should be set to ship tomorrow.
