Re: Pitch-In card balance problems

I signed into BestBuy ( already had an account there ) .. then looked around to get a pitch-in card.. filled out that info.. then clicked the email link and sent the email with promo code, making reference to the Coke promo and $10 but don't really remember what I wrote.. .. I got an email from BestBuy with what I believe I emailed to the address coke gave us for the $10 telling me I won through Coke and my promo # is XXXXXXXXX. This I didn't understand and thought maybe I messed up in sending the email, so I went back to Best Buy and checked emails sent.. and it had the correct addy to send it to.. all on Nov. 11th.... Then I got the Pitch-in card really quick and went on line to activate.. $0 balance.. Knowing that no one else was getting their $10, and still wondering about that strange email, I called Best Buy (someone posted that they got a $10 gift card sent to them when they complained to BB) .. but the customer service rep said all they send is an empty pitch-in card. He didn't want to consider that you have to do the email thing or get $$ put in through their pitch-in program. I did not press it or get rude as I knew he had no clue what to say. I then called Coke who informed me to email eprize.. Keep in mind, I still did not reach that magic 7-10 day (assume business days) period it tells you to wait. I then found this forum and decided to post, since I know many people were having problems. Eprize replied telling me I would get the $$ in 7-10 days.. basically what they tell you originally. Well, the 23rd I get an email from Best Buy saying someone put some $$ into my pitch-in card.. I got on BB and checked my pitch-in balance and it said $10 .. 24th and I get another email from a lady.. with gift announcement as the subject.. I was unsure of opening it, but did and found that to be like a Best Buy "card" with : Thinking of you on this special occasion! Congratulations on being a winner in the My Coke Rewards best Buy Pitch In Sweepstakes. Your prize has been added to your Pitch In list! I really don't know if I did something different from anyone else.. or if maybe my email to eprize didn't go on deaf ears.. but I know others contacted eprize with no results. If anyone has gone past the 7-10 days on their card, then maybe try another time to email.. only make sure to reference the Coke sweeps as to where the promo came from.. copy and paste the # so there is no mistake..

Re: Pitch-In card balance problems

I also won from Coke.Received the pitch in card within days. Then I followed the instruction provided by coke to claim my $10. It has been over a week. Just check my balance and it is zero. Anybody who has any ideas what we can do to get this problem resolved??

Re: Pitch-In card balance problems

I appreciate Coca Cola's generosity in trying to give out $10 to all its winners, but this "win" has become one incredible hassle - so much so that it hardly seems worth pursuing it any longer.

Like everyone else here, I followed the instructions in the winning email and applied for a Pitch In Card.  It arrived quite quickly - with a $0 balance.  So I queried that.  After many back and forth emails with the various entities involved, I finally received an email saying the card would be credited with $10 in 7-10 days.  Unfortunately I overlooked the part of the email that said it would be credited only after I "requested" the credit, so naturally I didn't do that, and my balance is still $0 and will likely remain so.

I guess the lesson to be learned here is 1) a win is not really a win if it becomes too complicated to claim it, and 2) always read the small print.   This whole episode is not inspiring a whole lot of confidence in the Pitch In card either.

Re: Pitch-In card balance problems

You have to send the email per the instructions..  if you still have $0 balance after the 7-10 days then try re-sending the email through the pitch-in page..  some have had good luck with that.

Re: Pitch-In card balance problems

Hey all!

I finally got a toll free number that you can use to try to obtain assistance with your Pitch-In Card issues: 1.888.716.7994.  When you call this number, you will need the card number and the security code from the back.

I hope this helps!
