The thing is I'm not the one going to the States but my boyfriend, he'll pick up the laptop I buy (whatever I finally buy) online, try it, install some stuffs and check it completly, since he'll be there a month and a half, it's enough time to find any deffect in use.
I'm looking mostly a Toshiba under 500$, since in my country we've got limited dollars and, to buy online we only have 400$, I got extra 100 from someone else... An Asus works too, or a Dell, they all have service here in Venezuela in case I ever need it, but the most I can find ar HP and actually, I hate'em, I've had bad experiences with it. So, no warranty is affordable to me only with 500$. Thanks for the advice anyway.

Hi, I live outside the US, I'm buying laptop and someone else is picking it up at a store, if the laptop has any problem and need to be changed or something while the one picking it up is still in the US, the name on the bill must be his or he can go and do any claim at the store with a bill on MY name.
I'm saying who's gonna pick it up at the store and all, but if it has any imperfection, the bill could be at my name, even if I'm not the one who's taking the laptop back to the store but the one who I specified before is picking it up and responsible of it?

Hi Betsa610,
Thanks for reaching out to us on the forums!
Those are certainly good questions. When placing an order online, you can select someone to pick up the order at the end of the check out. If there are any issues with the laptop while your friend is in the US, they should be able to bring it back to the store location and try to resolve it, seeing as the name of the person picking it up should be on the order to begin with.
In regards to the earlier questions that were asked, as CrystalWoW mentioned, if you plan on purchasing online, all of the funds must be used online instead of being split in store. Thank you again and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,

Hi, yesterday I made a purchase for an eGift card, I received an email that says it wasn't processed, but I still have the charge on my credit card, I contacted the eGift card support service and the only answer I got was the only accept US billing addresses, I made the purchase with an US billing address, the one Best Buy has for international purchases.
Now I'm lacking the eGift card amount on my credit card AND the eGift card and, of course, I need one of them...
Please HELP!

Last tuesday I made a purchase for a eGift card from Venezuela, I used the address you suggest and everything was fine, then I got an e-mail saying this:
Unfortunately, we are unable to process your e-gift card purchase from Best Buy. Your credit/debit card has not been charged. |
I checked y credit card balance and the founds were frozen, at this time they still are, I called the bank and they told me I must wait for YOU to authorize the purchase, since they see it in the system as a successful one. What do I do? I want either my eGift card or my money.

I want my money, PLEASE!
