I will start by saying that I have been a loyal Best Buy customer for years, even abandoning other stores such as Gamestop and Walmart. I have purchased TVs, computers, videogame systems, and video games and have easily spent thousands of dollar at Best Buy. This may have to change. I most recently purchased a high end graphics card for my PC online , as it was not caried in store, paying extra for "expidited" shipping. Upon my purchase, I was notified that my order should arrive shortly on the 4th of January, 2012. Today is the 9th of January and my order has still yet to even be processed for shipping. I have contacted customers service numerous times through telephone, email, and on this forum, and have not receive any sort of dignified response other than "we'll get back to you". I understand that my graphics card had to be special ordered (although It certainly was NOT indicated to me at the time of my purchase), but this does not change the fact that I was misled into believing that my order was to arrive at a certain time, which judging by how little I have heard from customer service, will be WAY LATE. If I could say one thing, it would be this; If you plan on purchasing online at BestBuy.com, think again and go elsewhere. Judging by the amount of paying customers angered about being misled of the arrival of their package in this forum alone(one even claiming that BB even took 88 days and then informered said patron that his order would not be arriving), I would certainly think twice before pressing that "complete purchase" button.

I built a new computer myself a few months ago, so I can imagine how anxious you must feel for your video card to arrive. I’d be disappointed too if I ordered one online, but wasn’t able to obtain any updates after the original delivery window had passed.
