I placed an order last weekend for site to store delivery. I understand that the product takes 2 to 5 business days to ship and my estimated pick-up date isn't until next Friday (April 27, 2012).
I just don't think the order status messages helpful at all and would like an explanation of what exactly "in process" and "Order in process of being fulfilled" actually means. Will the status actually change once it has shipped to the store, or will it remain as is until it ready for pickup?

I did take a look at your order by using the email address you registered on the forums and it looks like it is still processing, as you mentioned. This item is from our expanded online assortment so the processing take can take longer than normal.
The standard processing time is about 2-5 business days, as you mentioned. Unfortunately it’s not that it ships to the 2-5 business days, rather it can be 2-5 business days before it ships. Friday would be the last expected day for it to ship, which is why the estimated pick up time it for next week. If you don’t see it ship after Friday, please let me know by sending me a private message via the link in my signature.
