I placed an preorder last thursday for a  game, and when I checked after (and the next day) the money was taken out of my bank account.   Suddenly this morning though I saw that my money was back in my account and the charge had disappeared.

The website still shows my order when I log on, though it says it's pending.   Did something happen to my order or is the error on my bank's end?

Welcome to the forum and thanks for your post about your order. I was able to pull up your order information with the email listed in your profile. I'm super jealous you snagged a copy of ME3 CE!!!

With preorders, your card gets an authorization to verify funds available, but if the game isn't coming out for a while, the authorization might fall off and resubmit. It looks like this is what is happening. Depending on your bank, the authorization we put on will stay there a few days - weeks, but might "expire" since the funds haven't been fully charged. Since the game doesn't come out for a month, you might see authorizations pending or falling off every now and then, but your order still stands.
