I've been waiting about two months to order the htc Flyer from BestBuy as they were always out of stock. I checked on 12/06/11 and they actually had it in stock for shipping so I ordered it and it is still telling me it is processing of being fulfilled after seven days. I know they are busy since it is that time of year but what concerns me is if it being for sale and in stock was just an error since it hasn't been available for two or three months. It is showing up as unavailable now also. I tried emailing customer service but I received an automated message telling me to check my order status on their website which I already did. I'll have to try calling. Can someone please help me with this?

You need to actually click on the order number and not pay attention to what it says in account overview. It is probably backordered. They hide the notification in small print. .After you open up the order you should look to the bottom left. If it say (1) item backordered you are in the same situation thousands of us are in. Not many answers from Best Buy either. I wish you luck. They are slow here but can sometimes help people.

Yea I checked a couple of hours ago and its now on backorder. The starnge thing is it's not even on their website at all now. I might be on special order. I'm just going to have to call them and see if I should cancel, thank you !

As an update I've emailed best buy again and I am still receiving a generated response. I called and spoke to a representative who didn't have a clue after being on hold for over fourty five minutes and I am still at the same place I began at. I also learned the htc flyer I ordered is on backorder now and it has actually been removed from their site completely. If they were out of stock then why did they even waste my time and let me order it.. This is ridiculous, I've ordered from other major retailers and have never had a problem.
