Order Help - Dell Computer

Can I get an update on my order status?  I ordered a new Dell computer over a week ago for store pick-up.  It said the estimated time for ship-to-store was 5 days.  Nothing has changed on my order.  Best Buy hasn't charged my credit card nor given me an estimated time for pick-up.

Hi DL199,

 

Thanks for posting on the forums about your Dell computer order that you haven’t seen anything happen to it yet.  I know that I’d be curious to know what was going on after several days as well.

 

Using the email address you registered on the forums, I was able to locate the order.  It looks like the Dell computer is coming from our expanded online assortment, which means that it can take longer to ship than normal.  However it looks like it did ship since posting and I will be sending you a private message with more information.  To check your messages, you must be logged into the forums and click on the yellow envelope icon in the top right corner.

OK...thats the 4th time today I have read that orders take longer to ship because they are from "our expanded online assortment". Just what is this and why does it take longer to ship from it?

I'm having the same problem with an order and it has already passed the delivery estimate now.

 

Please give us any kind of feedback, it's extremely frustrated for clients not to have any response on whether their products are actually on process of being delivered or not, without any updated from Best Buy.

My understanding is that products on the website, in an effort to expand the selections, are not all from Best Buy directly, but from other retails.

That item, while on bestbuy.com, if ordered would be coming from buy.com, instead.
