Fixed!!!
Here's how.
1) Log out of the site and become a guest.
2) make sure your cart is empty and the cart button (top right) says 0 items.
3) add something inexpensive to the cart - just in case...
4) click the checkout button
5) you'll get the "login" or "checkout as guest" page - login
6) your cart will be messed up like it has been - but now you'll have the cancel order button - click it
7) cancel order confirmation popup appears - confirm the cancel
8) wa-la your cart is fixed!!!![]()
So Best Buys recommendation was half right about the cancel order. They just failed to explain how to get there.
