No wonder Best Buy is about to go bankrupt - their horrible customer service will not be missed.

Just had one of the worst shopping experiences of my life at BestBuy Cumberland, GA - store 2894. I will never step foot in another BB again. I had an advertisement from MicroCenter for a tablet that was $50 less than BB. First they told me they won't price match MicroCenter even though it's 8 miles away. I asked to speak to the manager and she agreed to match the price. But, Ashley, the deceitful sales person called to check availability first. She said MC was out of stock, so they couldn't honor the price. I left and called MC myself and they did in fact have them in stock. I went back to discuss Ashley's deceit with  the manager, when Cristin asked if she could help. I said no, I won't deal with the peons anymore and she went off on me (an already irate customer) about calling her a peon. After waiting 10 minutes for a cowardly store manager, who never arrived, I left. We'll see what Corporate has to say about this. I'm also going to file a complaint with the St. Attorney General's office about their deceitful practices to try to avoid price matching a local retailer.

Yup, that makes total sense. Best Buy about to go bankrupt when they're making hundreds of millions of dollars in profits. Typically, businesses that go bankrupt are LOSING money which Best Buy is far from at.

At the moment, they are changing their strategy in order to adapt to the changing market but this is far from being close to bankruptcy.

When a person NEEDS (wants) to buy something customer serviecs wont keep them from making a purchase and most stores know this by now so they hire productive people reather than helpful people.

The truth is that it is more cost effective to move on to the next customer for a quick sale than to do any damage controle.

You are not the only one, a couple of months ago I went o BB and they almost run me over with the electric lift.

The woman who was operating didin't even bother to apologize, so I went to the manager to complain and he couldn't care less either.

It boils down to the customer, and watch.... slowly but surely it's just a matter of time, karma will take it's toll on those rude 3rd world people who will not be missed when they go bankrupt.

Are you on the same planet as us?  Amazon is kicking Besy Buys a*s.  See article.....Best Buy isn't closing 50 stores becasue their making millions.  They just lost nearly 2 billion dollars last quarter.  My gf works at Best Buy in the cpu dept. and it's going downhill.

They're closing 50 stores and opening 100 more this year, and opening 200-400 more by 2016. That's a positive gain of 250-450 stores. Read past the headlines.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a government worker here!!!  After all, only a governement worker could look at the fact that Best Buy made BILLIONS in PROFIT last quarter alone and spin it to "losing" billions of dollars.  funny

They didn't make as much as they wanted to, but in case you weren't aware, that doesn't mean that they "lost" money.  Kinda reminds me of some of the tricks by certain political parties.  When one party wants to cut expansion of certain programs from 10% growth to only 5% growth a certain year to save money.  The other party screams that they are drastically cutting the program and millions of people will suffer, etc. etc. etc. when the program is still growing.

Nope.....wish my job was a government job because I would be paid more. Their are articles all over the internet regarding Best Buy. People you don't have to take anybody's word on here, just goto Google. This guy obviously has no clue. Best Buy is "restructuring" because they aren't doing well. Just look at the interim CEO. He used to work in health care. Best Buy has tons of problems and if they don't fix it they will be the next Circuit City. Go read a book bro because your clueless. You obviously work for Best Buy but not for long.
