I purchased a Canon Powershot Elph 300 camera on cyber Monday, November 28. The system showed that this camera qualified for the promotional case and memory. There was nothing that showed up in the cart that referenced the free bag, memory or 8x8 memory book. However, I did receive an email on how to receive the 8x8 memory book automatically but nothing about the bag or memory card. When I went to the store to pick up the camera and asked about the bag and memory I was told another lady had the same problem on Monday and she was able to get her problem fixed by calling 1-888-bestbuy. I'm assuming she was able to get her problem fixed because she picked up the camera while the promotion was still showing on the computer. However, I picked up my camera yesterday, Tuesday, after the promotion had ended and it seems more difficult to get my problem resolved. I was on the phone yesterday with customer service for 1 hour and 15 minutes. First I talked with customer support, who verified with his supervisor that the bag and memory should have automatically been added. I was then on hold waiting for computer support who eventually said someone from their promotional company would be calling me. I was told it would be at least a couple of days before I got a call. I called on Friday to check the status and was told they could do nothing and that it was sitting in their promotional department queue and hadn't been looked at yet. Since this problem is exactly like the following message which has been resolved, I'm hoping someone can resolve my problem as well. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

I ordered a Canon SX40 camera today, and the item, as well as my shopping cart, said I would get a free camera case and 4G memory card. I clicked on the ad detail, and it specified that it was valid Sunday & Monday (today) and would be applied automatically at checkout.
When I went to the store to pick up my camera, there was no case or memory card waiting for me. The young lady behind the counter said that she had just encountered this same problem with an earlier customer, and that these items would ship to me separately. She said that I would get an email about the delivery of the items.
Well, I have received no emails about the free case & card, and there is nothing in my order status showing these items. I made screenprints of my cart and the page outlining the free items, so at least I have documentation.
What is the deal with this? Is this fault advertising or ???

Justin (above) helped me out. He entered a case number and when I called and (finally) got through to a person, the rep filled out a no-cost order to ship me a camera case & memory card. I reveived the order confirmation email, so hope to receive the items shortly.
To the others who experienced the same problem, I would suggest starting a new thread so that a moderator can see it & help you out.
