No one can tell me if I still have an order or not.

Placed an order January 12th on BestBuy.com for a laptop and accessories (mouse, laptop bag, etc...).

Opted for pickup in store.

 

Status of laptop, for almost a month now, is "in process".  Meanwhile, on Jan 20th, the local store insisted that I had to come in and pick up the mouse and other extras.  They said they could not wait until the 25th which was the eta for pickup on the laptop.

 

The 25th has come and gone and no one seems to have any idea when or if I will get the laptop.

 

I have tried calling nearly every day.  Spoke to many reps, only remember a handfull of them (Lori 96094670, Tony 96276508) but no one has any clue.

They just keep sending out sdf status requests.  Was on the line with Lori for nearly 90 minutes (she deserves a medal by the way).  Kept telling her I wanted to hold for a manager and for 90 minutes the response was no manager could come to the phone.

 

Submitted that customer service form a half dozen times as well and have not had a single response.

Went into the local store twice to see if they could help, especially since they were so insistent that I had to pick up the accessories without the laptop.

They couldn't find out any answers either and sent requests out to warehouse people who never answered.

 

I need to know if I have an order or not.  Can't just keep holding on forever and hope it eventually comes in.

What am I supposed to do with this mouse and empty laptop bag?

Not to mention the software download card that I also had to pickup.  What am I supposed to download office to?  My microwave!

 

Spent another 2 hours on the phone with customer service today.

Do I just give up and buy it somewhere else?  But then what if someday it comes in?

I can't cancel the order either but they can't tell me if my order is still live.

 

How am I supposed to run a business like this?

 

 

Please someone tell me if I have an order?

Tell me that I will someday have a use for this mouse that sits on an empty desk!

Let me get on with my life!

I appreciate you reaching out to us about the experience you have been through trying to get the laptop that you ordered back in January and haven’t seen in almost a month.  I know that I would be just as frustrated if I was waiting that long and called in several times, only to received not much help.

 

I was able to take a look into the order by using the email address that you registered on the forums and it looks like the laptop was actually cancelled yesterday.  It appears from many of the case notes that the issue stems from the fact that there was a delay in getting the laptop from the vendor.  I am sorry for this inconvenience and for the time you have spent on your own trying to resolve this.

 

I know that the laptop has been cancelled, however if there is anything else I can try to help with, please let me know.  Thank you again for posting on the forums.

Return the accessories that you cam and go elsewhere.
