I placed an order on November 28 for an LG Blu-ray disc player with a free Blu-ray copy of "Superman Returns". Well, at the time it was unavailable for shipping and no copies were available at ANY of the stores in Ohio. Only today does it appear to be in stock online. I spent over half an hour on the phone trying to reach someone over two weeks ago and the Best Buy rep said that I could get a different Blu-ray movie instead. She didn't tell me that I needed to deal with BestBuy.com to do this, so I went to my local store and the manager said that they would be taking a loss if THEY gave me a Blu-ray movie and that I would have to go online and do it. Sigh. I left the matter alone because of other Christmas obligations and tasks, but now I want my movie that I am entitled to. I had sent an email to Bestbuy.com after talking with the local store manager but have received no reply whatsoever.
So, I would like to know if one of the wonderful moderator on here could help me resolve this. I can provide my order info etc.
Thanks,
Kathy B.

Actually I know that I said moderator above, but I realize that is somewhat of a breach of etiquette, I just don't want to spend half a day (if I'm lucky, that is!) on the telephone about this. Does anyone have a solution or been through this before?
Thanks!

It would actually need to be a mod that assists with getting this. Yes, you could call in to 888BestBuy again, but like you mentioned there is a long wait time. The mods here are pretty busy because of the season, however your issue is not falling on deaf ears here!! Your patience is much appreciated!!

Thanks, AgentG. I figured that they are really busy right now, but your words are comforting. I just didn't want to offend anyone, which I did a while back. Thanks again!

Well, G, I'm beginning to wonder if there is anyone monitoring these boards. It seems that they seem to pick and choose who they want to respond to. That's just ridiculous, and very bad business practice, but I guess they just don't care.

Actually, posts are responded to in the order that they are received. Keep in mind the Community Connectors are limited in number, and few work the weekends. The Supervisor also must review each post initially alone, so she knows which CC would best be able to address that post's particular issue(s).

Hello justathought -
My apologies to you for the delay!! I have been super sick.
I have asked Josh to reach out to you with this concern and you should hear from him in the next 3 - 5 business days.
Thank you for your patience!

Kathy,
I am so sorry you weren't able to get help with getting the free Blu-ray that should have been included with the player you purchased. I can understand how disappointing it was not to get that little extra goodie with your order.
I would be happy to do what I can to help in any way I can! In order to assist, I’ve sent you a private message. To access your private messages please ensure you’re logged into the forum and click the little envelope that is in the upper right hand corner of the page.
I look forward to hearing from you!
