Never cease to amaze me....

Despite the multiply mess-ups on my orders during the holiday seasons, curiosity led me to give bestbuy another try. So, I ordered a DVD movie as birthday gift for someone, When I received the package and open it, someone else's return slip and DVD was there. This is so crazy how this company can make so many errors. I think bestbuy offers good deals but is handicapped when it comes to fulfilling transactions.
When I call bestbuy Josh told me that I wasn't able to take it to a bestbuy store, but he would send me a return slip and then they would send me my correct purchase. However, after I got off the phone with him I receive a couple of contradicting emails. One stating order was shipped. The other stating shipment was on hold.
Once again this incident is becoming a flash back of the holiday mess-ups.

WOW! Talk about a breach of customer confidentiality/information. I assume the return slip was some part of the invoice which had customer name, address, and possibly payment information on it.

I learned my lesson with Best Lie and haven't set foot in one of their stores since September '11, and talk to everyone I know about purchasing elsewhere if they actually want to receive their orders.

I can't believe I am still dealing with this situation. No one has reached out in relations to this matter. Now, I am having to deal with my credit card company in regards to this incident.
Once again, thanks bestbuy for the frustration...

Hello JTWalsh,

 

I am sorry to see that once again you are having issues with an order that was placed on BestBuy.com. It is concerning that the package you received, had contained the return slip for another customer, and I am uncertain how this would have been sent to you in place of the movie you ordered.

 

I did some research into your order and the calls that I could find, and I have to say I am a bit confused on this. I saw that on 1/31 that a replacement movie had been sent to you and it should have been received on 2/1. If this is not the case and you are still having issues with this, I would like to look into it further with you.
