Need Help with Pitch In card (Not able to make contributions)

I was thinking of buying a Laptop. But do not have enough money now but I created a Pitch In card so I can contribute some money to it and some other people can also do same for me. 

Recently I received some Best Buy Gift cards. And I used a bunch of them to contribute some money towards that Pitch In card. My wife and my sister also received some gift cards and they also contributed. But when my wife tried again it did not work for her. Everytime we try to use a Valid Gift card (Best buy GC with balance)  to contribute to this Pitch In card our order gets cancelled after 10-11 hrs of going under process and reason is stated that order could not be verified. This has happened 3 times now.

 

Called Customer Service yesterday and after coming across various incompetent agents who have no idea what I am talking about I finally got to someone who at least knew something. But still nothing resolved because that person told me that someone who specialize in this is not working that day.But I was promised someone would call me today. But no calls.

 

Called again today after waiting for a call from BB cs. Again came across a number of Incompetent CS agents finally got to someone who tried to help me. But nothing has been resolved again. She told me a Investigation will be done and was assigned a case number. She advised me to try to use Credit card to contribute but I told her I want to use gift cards that I have otherwise they are useless for me.

 

So would like to know if someone can help me in getting this resolved. Or I should just cut my losses and try to stay away from buying a $1700 laptop from Best Buy. Because I have never come across such poor CS in my entire life.

 

Now I call them Incompetent because many of them did not even know what a Pitch In card is. Then some of them gave me "You can not use GC to contribute" line again and again even after I explained it to them that it is allowed as I read abt it before committing to  it.

 

So a little help from someone who was actually trained for a Job to help customers.

How do you contribute gift cards to the pitch in card.  There is no option for it as far as I can see in the Pitch In contribution

template.

After you click on contribute then goto check out. Then you will see it asking your credit card or paypal information , scroll down a little and then there you will see where you can put in your gift card nr and pin and then click on apply.

 

Though I am still waiting for my Pitch In card to arrive even if I have ordered it couple of weeks back and I have some money on it. So its a worry... I would recommend going to a store and buy a Pitch In card there and ask them to use ur gift card to contribute.

How to Make a Formal Complaint against Best Buy Customer Service?

I have had a awful lot of bad experience with ineptness of Best Buy Customer service. I ordered a Pitch In card on 17th march. After a while I was not even able to contribute to it. It already have $175 on it. But now I have been waiting for a while but have not received it. 

 

Last week after several calls ending up talking to people who are not properly trained and have no idea of Pitch In card , someone so called Supervisor told me it was sent to me on 21st March. Now I waited and when I did not receive it this week either I called again and got other Supervisor who told me the card was not sent on 21st March but has been mailed on 30th March. 

 

I mean now this is so awful that its almost funny. So I told him that means someone who spoke to me last week lied to me. 

 

Anyway now I supposed to wait for this card to arrive which has my money on it. And I am not even given alternatives other than to trust people on phone. 

 

So I would like to know a way I can make a formal written complaint to some proper authorities who are supposed to keep a check on standard of Best Buy Customer service , because so far my experience has been that they are not trained and very very unprofessional who does not keep up the commitments and lie.
