My package goes to wrong address...

I order a Monster-Beats Headphones as a gift to my customer back on 2/12/10.   On 2/16/10, 30 minutes after receipt of tracking number, I started calling Customer Care to redirect package to Miami.  No matter whom I spoke to, they only insist shipping address can not be changed once tracking number issued, disregard the package still sit in the warehouse by then.  I looked for a suggestion to prevent the package delivered to the wrong address. Bestbuy phone guys can only suggest me to wait for the first attempt and wish receiver to reject the package. 

 

As UPS allows only shipper to change the destinations, I asked the customer rep. to direct me to who else is capable to help me on the issue.  The only answer is NO, NO, NO.  They can do nothing as trucking number issued!!

 

Then I start to contact UPS.  The sales manager in UPS tried to work it out sine 2/16, kept me posted on what he had done.  Unfortunately, he ends up same frustrated as I do after a day’s phone calls on 2/17.

 

Can someone help me here?

On phone, I even willing to place another order as long as this package can be recalled or redirected.   One of Cus Rep was so glad on the chance of taking order but not to find a way to help.  With a headphone order over $300, the service is SUCKS!!

ETA of this package is 2/19

 

Unless shipper changes the address TODAY, the package is going to wrong address.  I have no problem to pay the extra charges of changing address if there is any.

 

I fully understand the wrong address is not Bestbuy’s fault.  As Bestbuy is the only party authorized to change the address per contracts between UPS and Bestbuy, you are the only party I can ask for help.

 

Regardless the lower MSRP posted on other channels, such as Am***n, I order from bestbuy.com as you did awesome service in store.  And I do not expect higher quality of customer service because the higher MSRP than the others.

This is my LAST purchase from BB

Package is delivered to the address without correction, left on front door w/o signature required.

 

Just ordered another one from Am***n. 

1. Order amount with One-Day UPS shipping costs $70 LESS than what I ordered from BB w/standard free shipping.

2. Am***n does same day shipping.  It took BB 4 days to ship out my order. (though the item is in stock)

 

BB as the only party capable to correct the mistake but is not willing to provide service.  For what I continuously deal with BB in a higher cost? 

 

I am finding a new gift card vendor for my companies and no more purchases on BB.

My apologies yopplin, however ultimately we were not able to intercept the package after you incorrectly listed your address when placing your order.   I certainly do apologize that this error has caused you to sour from our company.  Thank you for the update, and I will show Joshua your response.
