Dell-14" XPS Laptop - 8GB Memory - 750GB Hard Drive-Elemental Silver Aluminum-X14Z-8461ELS
I have wrote many emails to the customer service about my order. My order was made on Feb. 25, on around Feb. 29. I received a laptop, which turned out to be Dell XPS 15Z. And shipped the this wrong item back to BB according to the instruction from the customer service. And they told me that they would ship the correct item to me. However, it has been 20 days since I made the order, yet I still see any sign that my laptop is being shipped to me. I wrote many times to the customer service, and they have been very polite and responsive, except that I can not get the exact time of delivery of my laptop.
I love this laptop very much. And I would even choose to wait for more days for them to deliver it to me. The only thing I am worrying about is that they may never ship it to me. And I have heard lots of customers have lost their fund from their credit after they cancel the order.
Could anyone give me any suggestions?
I almost lost all confidence in getting my laptop or my fund.

Welcome to the forums!!! First, do not worry about your money. If you ordered it with a card and want to dispute the charges, contact your cc company. It is unacceptable that you have waited so long without any contact from Best Buys. Have you called 1-888-Best Buy to get an answer? It may take a few days for someone from Best Buy to get back to you here. I have got to tell you though...you have A LOT more patience than I have!!! Good Luck.

Thank you for your reply. Yeah, I checked with my CC company and they told me I could do that by submitting an application. I made several phone calls to them again, and again they told me that this is a special order and that it's up to the manufacturer to ship that item to me. Anyhow, I want to get this laptop, so I am gonna wait for some more days, and hopefully I could get my laptop by March 25, one full month after I made the order.
Make sure you continue to be firm, but polite as you have been. Ask for a gift card as compensation for your troubles...nice goes a long way and you may get one!!!!

I am noticing from my own personal experience with Best Buy and from pretty much every other thread on this Forum that Best Buy's shipping standards are terrible.
I recommend using other more "shipping friendly" websites. The prices aren't that different, but a little higher price is better than dealing with the poor shipping standard of Best Buy.
Agreed!! I would like to add that I see many threads here from customers who order expedited (faster) shipping on their products. Remember that the expedited shipping portion of your order can only be beneficial IF BBY does its part and gets it to them in a timely manner. If not you have wasted your money and good luck getting BBY to refund you the expedited shipping cost!!
