Hi I received an email from BestBuy on 2/18 stating the the Hunter Edition I preordered (X360) would ship within 1-4 days. Is this still the plan?

Since a mod won't answer my question and no one at Best Buy has an answer for me, I'll just consider this a limbo purchase. I received another email today stating the Hunter Edition is STILL on backorder.

Even though this might be a simple question it can take 3-5 business days (m-f) for a MOD to answer.

I would also like to know when this is shipping. I have been told four different excuses by three different employees. Honestly it seems Mods will move a topic but not comment.

They move them to the correct board so that it can be assigned to a MOD that deals in that area. They will usually do some research before getting to you.

3-5 business days is completely unacceptable for a response. For the record, I also contacted Sega about this. According to them, they overnighted ALL of Best Buy's pre-orders for the Hunter Edition on 2-18 (which would explain why those of us who pre-ordered the Hunter Edition received an email on the same day stating they would ship in 1-4 days).

FYI...I just called customer service and they stated that the Hunter Edition changed status so it should be available to ship. They put me on something they called Fast Pipeing and explained that they have experienced similar issues with pre-orders. I'll update progress as I receive, but I'd still like an explanation from a Mod...

Thank you for posting your question to the forum. It is regrettable that you have had to wait longer than expected for your Hunters Edition. As a gamer and a fan of the Aliens Vs Predator series myself I can understand why you are frustrated with the delay. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have about this as I have in the threads on the Gaming, Gadgets and eReaders board here on the forum.
I can say we do answer as soon as we possibly can, I'm sorry that it can't be faster at times. I do see that your order is shipping out today so it should be to you soon. I do know that we began fulfilling orders last Friday, very shortly after we had received the product from the manufacturer. I have been working closely with the business teams on this. I assure you we have been working hard to get this taken care of as swiftly as possible.
