Lying to customers!!!!!!!!!

I recently ordered what I thought was an E-card to send to my niece for her 1st communion , when I come to realize what was ordered was a physical gift card that was being sent to a physical address even though it gave me a section to send notice by email to the recipient..I called customer service to confirm the order that’s when I found out that the order could not be cancelled a half-hour had passed which locked it into the system. It’s 2012 and no one at the company has a way of stopping an order!!!! I was told that the order had to pass a “phase” before it could be stopped before it shipped…3 agents and 1 “floor supervisor” used the exact same line, they all told me to keep calling back within an hour to recheck the status I called 3 times waiting 1.5 to 2 hours between calls .The 3rd agent said stated the department who handles that was closed at the time I called, I would have to call back tomorrow . The 4th and final agent I dared to speak with finally told me that it was highly unlikely in most case I would have to let the order go through receive it then return the item…that makes no sense the order hasn’t even been sent to their shipping department, How am I suppose to guess how slow or fast your system works. The last agent opened a case # for me….why didn’t the other agents do that ????? oh wait it’s easier to lie and get the caller off the phone. best buy should change their name to Buyer beware!

In most situations, customers may cancel an online ship-to-home order within one hour of submitting that order.  Once an order has been acknowledged by our fulfillment warehouse, however, this is no longer possible.  For more information I would encourage you to review the following guide:

That being said, I was able to locate your order using the e-mail address you used to register for the forum and have notified our support team of the situation.  Although I cannot make any guarantees, I will let you know via private message as soon as an update is available.  You can check your PMs by signing into the forum and then clicking on the letter icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

I was given a case # {Removed per Forum Guidelines} by the agent names "Sue" from the gift card department, I tried to call her back from the number she called but the system say's "you have reached an invalid number at "teletech"
