Maybe a store near Best Buy's headquarters had one and an employee went above and beyond to ship it to you, you never know!

And the saga continues.
Well, here we are in 2012 and still waiting for the blueray system and the $75.00 gift card. The gift card was supposedly mailed to me over 2 weeks ago. Was this just another lie I've been told by Best Buy to put me off for a while?
A very disappointed grandson because the blueray system did not arrive for Christmas. Both original product and upgrade are on backorder. We are still waiting.
In all fairness BB did offer to refund me the money. I asked if the sale price would be available to me when the product came in stock. No was the answer. I told them to hold on to the money and ship me the upgraded system when it became available.
How long does it take Best Buy to get new product?
I ordered and paid for this product, in good faith, on the 28th of November. This is now the 2nd of January and still no product. Come on Best Buy. Get your act together and start satisfying your customers. You are not the only game in town.

Looks like that agent that was supposed to send you the $75 gift card had the fund request rejected for some reason. I've sent out a $100 one.
When I placed your replacement order, there was no indication that we were inventory constrained on that item. I'm very sorry.
Unfortunately, there aren't many comparable items. The one I chose was the next model up and sells for much more than the original.
I'm checking into this item with our product team to get an estimate. I'll let you know when I hear back.

Of course it was a lie. what makes you think you're so special (sarcasm) They have lied to me for over a month now. I am sure they lied to a whole bunch of other former customers as well.

Jacob, I want to thank you for the gift certificate. It arrived this AM via UPS. Please let me know when my Blue Ray system is expected to be in stock and shipped to me. Thanks again for the gift certificate.

Jacob.... I just check the Sony website and product Sony-1000W 5.1-Ch. 3D*/Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Home Theater System-BDV-E570 is no longer available. What now???

Is there any other Sony product that is comparable to what you offered me available? I would like to get this situation settled once and for all. This has been dragging out for a month and a half now. You've had my money since Nov.28th. and I have no product. No Christmas gift for my grandson, only a promise. Is there a comparable unit at the Brandon FL store that I could pick up Sunday 01/08/12 as I will be in the area?
