so my birthday is coming up and my mom decide to get me a ipad 3
I called sale associate this morning on the phone to make sure that they have ipad 3 in stock and send my mom to buy it this after noon, when my mom got to the store, a sale associate name Zachary told me through my mom's phone that they are completely out of ipad3 every color, every model....I was suspicious and call the sell associate again though the customer service line, the cell associate on the phone comfirmed that they do have ipad 3 in stock and multiple models too.
i was really mad, i asked them to reserve one under my name and called my mom to pick it up, when my mom went to the best buy again and picked up the ipad 3. they obiously recognized her and kept apologizing. when my mom went to confront with Zachery ( the sales person claimed that they are out of ipads), He acted really suprised and was like" oh you got it, i "thought" that we dont have any more ipad3 left....."
I am really mad with this incident, it is mess up that they would pull stuff like this....
BTW, i am asian and the best buy store i went to was CONCORD MILL at Charlotte, NC

Crying racism with no factual backing just destroys any credibility you may have had.
But it's great practice for later in life so you can blame any failures you may have on it in order to keep from having to own up to any potential shortcomings on your part.
People tend to use it a lot discussing the job market. After all, if racism was the cause of someone not getting job, there's nothing you could have done since you can't change a job. But if there were other issues such as attitude, dress, grades, etc. then the applicant has to look inward and would need to change.
It's just plain easier to play the race card then to accept that there was probably a perfectly good explanation as to why this happened.

From what I've read and seen in the news recently, I suspect that the only color Best Buy is concerned about these days is green. Happy birthday and enjoy your new iPad. ![]()
