Hi,
I ordered a sharp TV of the BestBuy.com. I got a shipment notice that it was going by Yellow Freight with a tracking number. When I click on the link for the tracking number it takes me to Yellow's site where it says the tracking number is invalid.
So I called customer support and their solution to this was to ship another tv because "there was probably an issue with the shipment". I didn't really like this resolution but after asking some questions decided to let them send another. Even though I don't think this is a good way to handle this.
Now I received another ship notice just like the first one. It says that it is being shipped via Yellow Freight and includes a tracking number. Once again that tracking number shows invalid.
Why can't I just get a tracking number so I can arrange plans to make sure I am home in advance? It also appears that my situation is not an isolated incident.
What can you do Best Buy? I am getting frustrated.

I spoke to two bestbuy.com reps the other day and neither could figure out what was going on with my order. They told me that they would inform their special order division and have them investigate how the tv was shipped and call me today. I am pretty sure at this point I am not getting a call and my guess is that if I call they still aren't going to know what is going on.
What is so hard about getting a tracking number!?
I have always had a great experience with in store purchases, but this is the last time I will ever order anything off of bestbuy.com.

Aaron has successfully tracked down how my tv was sent. Turns out it was shipped via Pilot Freight. Now I can figure out when I have to be home to receive it. Thanks!
