Ordered a Samsung Galaxy Tab on-line with in store pick-up. Receive an email saying it should be ready in less than 45 minutes. I'm at the store 3 hours later and they still can't even see I've placed an order to be picked up in their store. The associates were nice and actually called BB customers service and also received no help. So the store closed and now I will have to go back tomorrow and see if they have received the order.
Now how can I order a Pizza online and be able to go pick it up 15 minutes later but in the Best Buy world they can't even see I've placed an order? Are you really not even able to compete with the pizza place down the road Best Buy? This is the best you can do?
I could have ordered this from (insert username) and had it delivered to my house by the time Best Buy will allow me to pick it up from their store. Seriously if your going to offer a service that doesn't work - just don't offer it. I'll avoid doing business with them in the future.

I know exactly how you feel. So often I will order things for in-store pick up so I can know my copy is there when I come to get it. Only to have my order completely messed up.
I preordered an item about four months prior to it being released. Was told I could pick it up only to find that they didn't have a single one come in. They told me to go to their sister site on the other side of the river, went their and had no clue what I was talking about. I ended up having to cancel my order and go to another store to purchase it.
Then this week I preordered something and when I got their what they wanted to give me was completely different than what was ordered. Part of me wonders if they don't verify orders as they put them up for pick up. That way any issues can be resolved before we get their. And if their is going to be an issue call ahead of us getting their to prevent customer dissatisfaction.

I understand that it must be infuriating to place an order online and be told from the store, that they haven't received your order details hours later. I can imagine your disappointment having to make another trip to the store to receive your Samsung Galaxy Tablet and after researching, I see that you were able to pick it up as of 3/31.
