How do you actually contact customer service?

I have tried to call 888-237-8289 and been told that there is no customer service number.

I called a few times and got the same results.

Is there any way to contact someone at Best Buy?

That's weird because that IS their customer service number.  Just call them and follow the prompts to where you want to go and you'll get to speak with someone about whatever issue you originally called about.

Exactly what problem are you having that you were calling about?

I have a reward zone certificate I am trying to use. It is not obvious how to find the certificate number on the certificate. I tried calling about that twice and was given incorrect numbers twice. So I'm trying to get some more knowledgeable help.

In response to your advice "That's weird because that IS their customer service number" I actually did ask to speak to customer service at that number and was told that there is no customer service department. I called back again because that response just did not sound right and got the same information, there is no customer service number. A third time and I was on hold for 10 minutes before having to give up in frustration.

Maybe that was the same kind of response as to when people call Best Buy and ask to speak with the "Electronics Department".  Uh, there is no Electronics Department, the whole store is an Electronics Department.

They would ask for clarification, in that case. They can't expect you to know the names of the departments, that would be unreasonable.. The thing to do would be to try to find out what you are looking for and route you correctly.

If it's a simple question, you can try emailing them. You can find the email form on their website. I don't remember where. I emailed them today to ask a question about my account. I think I had to be logged in first though.
