From what I've read on these threads, most people either get things sorted out through a moderator or their orders get canceled. I'm more willing to be positive and asssume that one of those two things will happen instead of believing that Best Buy would rob me.

I agree HeavyRayne. I doubt you will get flat out robbed. You'll just have to put up with the fact that you have to wait for the product you ordered that you would have already had for a day or two if you had ordered from another website, or any other website for that matter.
I seriously can't believe Best Buy's standard and performance is so poor regarding this. There are mom and pop businesses out there and people who run there business out of there garage that ship out ordered product the same day or very next business day.
I acutally just found out, that while the Best Buy website didn't say this when I ordered my product, the product I ordered has to come from the actual vendor. Best Buy doesn't even have it. I didn't order straight from the vendor, because I thought Best Buy would be more effective.
Amazing!

You would think that after receiving so many complaints Best Buy would try to find some way to increase the effectiveness of their shipping. This is just ridiculous.

I'm going to reserve judgement here. I've been getting e-mails from them that it's suppose to be there in about a week. See what happens. I could have went through Newegg.com and got the same thing for $12 in shipping more and only took 4 or 5 days
Sears is terrible, one time I ordered something and month later never heard them, even their local store said they seperate from their online ordering. Sears never had the item to sell in first place, Sears sells you stuff they don't even have.
I'm dissapointed that I need to use a credit card to order something through Best Buy Just to get it in their local store.
I got this response from them below
"I was able to use the email address you registered on our forums to locate the order. It does look like the video card is a product from our expanded online assortment, which means that it can take longer to ship. I did also though that it already shipped and is estimated to arrive early next week. You should receive notification once it is ready for pick up."
They should have told me this before I order it. It's wrong, they get your credit card and then tell you they don't have available.

Problem was resolved. I called customer service and they got it sorted out for me. Apparently, the store had had my laptop for a while, but the computer system had the laptop "stuck" in the processing stage, which caused confusion for both me and the store workers. At any rate, I have the laptop now and I am very much enjoying it.
