I wanted an Acer laptop that I saw on Amazon for a little over $600, but I took the chance to look on Best Buy's site to see if I could find it cheaper, which I surprisingly did.  Actually, it was about $100 cheaper than the Amazon price.  So, I decided to purchase the laptop from Best Buy instead.

The Acer I wanted wasn't available at my local store, so I chose the ship to store option.  I placed the order last Sunday, and the next day, I got a confirmation e-mail that the laptop was ready to be shipped to the store.

It's been seven days since then, but I still have not recieved an e-mail telling me that my order is being shipped to the store.  When I check my order status, it says my order is "in the process of being fulfilled".  How long does it take for a laptop to be shipped when it was supposedly ready a week ago?

The estimated pickup date is for the 25th, but my point is that the order was ready for shipping a week ago, and I have recieved no updates since then.  Could someone please tell me what's going on?

I ordered a camcorder from the .com on March 1st and I still show the order as in process. I have recieved NO help from customer service other than the generic....so and so will be reaching out to you thanks for your patience. Yes that date is correct March 1st ship to store order, that said in stock ready to be shipped. Almost 3 weeks and nothing, yet they have billed my account!!

Items that are shipped to store can vary in time frames from when they will get to the store.  Most items will indicated a time frame, such as 5-7 business days or 7-9 business days.  I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t been much more information about the shipment on your order, especially since the pickup date estimate is come up soon.

I usually check around for other customers' experiences with a company's shipping, but since I regularly buy things from the Best Buy store, I didn't think twice before choosing to buy online.  And now, after reading these thread, I'm realizing that that was a big mistake.

For crying out loud, I haven't even gotten an e-mail to tell me that it's been shipped, and the pickup date is in three days!  No other online store has ever given me this much trouble.  

The first experience always leaves the biggest impression, and this is my first time buying things online from Buy Best.  There is no way I will ever buy online from them again.  I should have just paid the extra $100 for the laptop on Amazon.  I know for sure that I would have had that thing by now, AND I would have recieved updates through e-mail.

Dude... I JUST updated my own Shipping Nightmare Status with this:

Still in Transit.
Was told it could take a week or longer.
(It shipped from 40 miles away... and it's been a week since they shipped it out.  Which means it's traveling at an average pace of... a quarter-mile an hour.  Which ironically... is... the average speed of a Giant Tortoise.  Soooooo... if anyone sees a Giant Tortoise on the side of I-85 North... with a Stark Edition Game of Thrones Blu-Ray attached to it's back... would you please let me know?)

It's been a nightmare to say the least.  I'm waiting on a pre-ordered item to be replaced (since I recieved it completely crushed).  At every step of the way I've had to explain that this is not my problem to fix.  The "too bad.  We can offer you a refund" isn't going to fly. My item was supposed shipped (finally) a week ago... from another store 40 miles away...  so GOOD LUCK with your shipment.

I hope it eventually gets to the point where it does ship.  My order stills says "In Process," and it's been saying that for 11 days!

I've sent two e-mails and received no reply.  I'm guessing Sean hasn't heard back from the store either.  If I don't have a reply by this evening, I'm just going to go to the store and find out what's going on myself.  This is annoying!

Yeah... they did that to me... till I aggressively explained the situation.  They were actually told to ship my item (store to store) back on the 12th... but the store never did... even when Corporate told them to.  I found this out when I spoke to the store manager where the item was coming from and she said... "We don't usually just send one item, so I decided not to send it".  I was like... WHAT????  That's when I explained for the 3rd Time that this situation wasn't mine to fix.  She then agreed to ship it out finally.  Now it's at least saying it's in Transit... for a week.  Like I've said... My biggest fear is that the receiving store will receive the item... and put it out on the shelf for sale.  I'll get my 23rd empty apology at that point.

I seen the same thing before and I fell for it again.  They get your credit card number and you can't stop them from billing you.  It's a game they play

The same thing happened to me with Sears and Lowes. 

They sell you things they don't have.  And they don't care. 

I Should have seen this coming.  If you go to the store they will tell you they can't help you because their online ordering is seperate from their actual store.

They probably have a million dollars a month to invest this way, make their money, they give you some kind of stupid apology and you're left holding the bag for a month.
