Guild Wars 2 Pre-Order with "beta" access

I pre-purchased guildwars 2 to play the beta weekend but apparently best buy will not allow you to download the game becuase of technical errors for another 48-72 hours. (beta even ends before then)

 

After spending 24 hours trying to get technicals support to download it, and 3 hours on the phone tonight, I get promised by upper management they will consider refunding me my money monday, if at all. What is the purpose of advertising garunteed access to the beta events if you can't even deliver the product your selling. On top of that despite not being able to give the product, you wont even process refunds.

 

I am sorry but this is all a bit ridiculous and I would suggest anyone reading this that is considering pre-ordering anything through best buy take their bussiness elsewhere. they may force me to purchase and go through hours/ days of technical support to keep the purchase - but after being a 10 year customer I can promise I will never again buy a product through best buy.

Thank you for joining the forum.

I am sorry about the issues you have had trying to get your code; this is not at all the way we wish our pre-orders to be processed. We experienced some issues with our systems with the attempted delivery of this code- this is the first time we have processed orders this way so we obviously have some kinks to work out. I wish I could have been able to reach out to you before you had the refund processed because I would've been happy to try and fix this for you.

If you would like some assistance with an order in the future, feel free to reach out to me and I will do everything I can to help. Hopefully we can prevent something like this from happening again.
