I know this may seem like a simple question but I just want to be sure of one thing before I purchase this new deck.  When you purchase the Pioneer model DEH-P3000IB, you are supposed to get the iPod Direct Control Interface cable free.  I noticed that the offer explained how to receive this offer online in the detail section.  My question is does this offer also apply if the unit is purchased in store?  Any help is appreciated, or any educated guess would work also.

Yes, but that model will be phasing out in the next month or so, Pioneer is releasing their 2009 model line and stores are slated to receive them in the next few weeks. You may want to check and make sure your local store still has that model in stock.

Welcome to the forum!  In researching your question, I found that our stores will honor a free offer on BestBuy.com unless it is identified as an “online only” offer.  Since this one isn’t, as long as the store is in stock on both products, they should be able to accommodate your request and honor the promotion.

The best means to ensure that you receive the free item would be to make the purchase online and select in store pickup for delivery.  This guarantees that you receive the product and the free offer.
