I also got my pre-order for Forza canceled and This was the first time I've ever pre-ordered from Best Buy. still feeling anger since the day it was canceled. it felt
like a insult when the sent the offer of $20 gift and 1600 microsoft points. i just sent a derogatory emai to take back their offer and shove it "somewhere" and
went to the best buy store where i ask if the game was still available, this worker ticked me off more when he said it was sold out and that i shouldve pre-
ordered it

Did any one that had there order get canceld get charged for the free dice?

Yes, I was charged for the dice... I tried getting it corrected via email, but I got a boilerplate auto-response telling me to call. I really don't feel like waiting on hold for 45 minutes with customer service for $5... The kicker is I even switched my order from LCE to standard edition without cancelling outright so I still technically qualify for the free dice. Even if I didn't do that, I'd still be irritated at the hidden back-charge though.

Hey guys, the best way to have your voices heard is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I've filed my complaints. Perhaps nothing will come of it, but if enough people complain about Best Buy poor business practice and ethics regarding their ordering and inventory policy maybe big brother will start asking questions. Another way to do it is to show your disapproval of Best Buy by nothing buying anything from them. Use your hard earn money to work for you. Use your money to make your voices heard. If enough people stop buying from Best Buy, they either have to change their ways or go out of business. At this point, if Best Buy were to go out of business, I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Good luck to all who have been emotionally traumatized by this whole experience.
BTW, I had a choice to preorder Battlefield 3 from Best Buy or Game Stop. I chose Game Stop. Vote with your buying power guys and girls.

Actually, the BBB doesn't really do anything to companies. If you want to lodge a legitimate complaint, go to the Minnesota Attorney General's Office at http://www.ag.state.mn.us/consumer/complaint.asp and fill out a form, then do the same with your own state's AG.
For the record, Best Buy didn't offer me a thing besides cancellation, at 2:30am on launch day. Stay classy, BB.
