As I write this I am coming to the realization that I'm not going to receive my purchased items. I've waited for responses from BB but have only had luck when calling their crappy customer service. I emailed them several days ago...nothing. I posted on these forums...nothing. It took my 3 days to finally get someone on the line from their customer service dept. The items are not in stock and will most likely not be backordered/replaced. Now my questions are, why would you allow for so many TV's or even other items to be available to purchase online when the items are out of stock. You can't tell me that a big company like BB, who was able to eliminate a major competitor like Circuit City, not have a better online system. I did a lot of BF shopping online with some of BB's competitors like Staples, Walmart, and other online electronics stores, and all my items I've received or en route to be delivered early next week. How can you not have a better system to track the # of items you have in stock? And especially on Black Friday items...how would you allow something like this to happen? Did you not assume that a big mess like this would happen? I really hope that this hasn't happened in previous years because if it does happen every year, it will eventually come back and bite them in the butt after years of this kind of disservice.
What bothers me the most is not that I'm not receiving my items at all, but that these items were for my kids whom were already expecting this and due to the amazing BF price, I was able to afford. There are no other stores that will have that kind of same deal. Now that I KNOW I won't be receiving these TV's, that BB won't price match another comparible TV, and bottom line that BB isn't even willing to try to make this better for us the consumers; I know NOW that I won't be able to give my kids what I really wanted to get them for Xmas. Coming in to BF I knew there was a slim chance to getting one of these TV's let alone 2 at the actual store. But why would you allow people to have hope that they are able to purchase items online when you know that you're system is so crappy and unreliable? Why would you not upgrade your system or better yet not even allow the item to go on sale to prevent from given people hope of purchasing the item? As you can see this really personally hit home. It's very discouraging knowing that BB is being the bully and not taking one for their customers, knowing that they were at fault for this and not us.

Good afternoon 116souljah,
I too am a father, so I can surely emphasize with the feelings that you're having over this issue. I want to express my deepest condolensces that this has occurred and that it's caused you such an inconvenience.
It is true that we would not be able to price match on this Dynex 24" television because of being a Black Friday promotion. It is also true that you will not receive these units because they are not available. I really wish I didn't have to confirm what you've already expected and I really wish that I could provide your children with these televisions. Items are subject to change and while I cannot take back what's already happened, I'll certainly pass along your voiced concerns to the appropriate levels.
Thanks for posting,

I just got an email today that my order was cancelled so I guess I am in the same boat. When I called in to check that status for the first time after getting an email that it was not in stock even though the website told me it was, I was told that it would be about a week before more came in. I said that was fine as it was going to be a Christmas present anyway. When I called yesterday, the rep could only tell me that no local stores had any yet. From these posts, it looks like the company was aware there were not going to be anymore available but the rep did not know this I spoke to yesterday. What does "price match" have to do with this? We did not buy these TV's before BF and are not asking to match the BF price. I just want the TV for the price that I purchased it at. If that can't be done then how about the company make good for their website's error in letting us purchase out of stock items. I noticed that this TV is not even on bestbuy.com anymore. I also noticed that the thread that 116souljah refers to is also gone. You would think with the way the economy and how consumer backlash has been lately that a company would do what I could to satisfy customers. Here is a possible solution. bestbuy.ca says it is in stock. Send me one of those. Please BB, make this good.
