I ordered various items online on the morning of Thanksgiving including doorbuster items. The main thing I ordered was the Dynex 24 inch TV. I received confirmation of the order at 5:01 AM which was just a minute after the deal went live. At about 12:45 PM that same day I received cancellation emails for 8 different orders. So not only was the TV cancelled but everything else I ordered was also cancelled at the exact same time. There were people that said they ordered at about 5:05 AM and they received shipping confirmation eventhough I order a few minutes before them.
Since then I have tried to call customer service about 30 to 40 times only to be redirected or disconnected just about every time. The few times that I did manage to get through all I got was contradicting information regarding this issue. One represenative gave me a case number and said that their research department would look into it and contact me in 24 to 48 hours. It has been 5 days now and I haven't heard a thing. I got through again today but once again they had no idea what to do.
In total I have probably been on hold for 5 to 6 hours only to get absolutely nothing done. I'm trying to be patient because I know it's a busy time of the year. I know it's not the fault of customer service themselves for what has happened but at some point if I continue to get nothing done i'm going to be forced to become more assertive but I don't want to because that just isn't my style. Please somebody help me with this. If at this point it is impossible to get these orders honored then at the very least I would like to be compensated.

Just today I was on the phone with someone who actually seemed like they might be able to help. After speaking to them for about five minutes all they could do is transfer me to another department. I have now been on hold since then for about 45 minutes.

I finally got connected to someone else who was absolutely no help at all. Everyone that I do get connected just keeps telliing my they're sorry but there is nothing they can do. There as got to be someone out there that can help me. I'm just at the point where compensation would be enough because this situation is just a major headache.

Just to add to what has already been said. This has got to be the most frustrated I've ever been with customer service of any kind. I ordered the TV within seconds of it going live and I'm going to end up getting nothing. I was on the phone for an hour just now and nothing was done. The CSR was going to compensate me but then she talked to a supervisor and they said they couldn't. I think she probably could have. She just didn't want to. I sat up all night waiting for this deal to go live only to have it cancelled after I ordered. Obviously the TV is out of stock everywhere now so really compensation is really the only thing that can be done now.

I've had the same thing happen. My washer/dryer order was cancelled. I could have reordered, but I used $300 of reward certificates on the original order and they still have not posted to my account. I have called nearly every day to check that what they say they will do for me will actually happen, but so far I think I'll be screwed! My last order EVER with best buy!

I really need someone to look into this. As of right now I've probably totaled 8 to 9 hours worth of phone calls whether it be because I'm on hold or just the CSR not doing much. All they do is tell me that the TV is out of stock and there is nothing they can do. I ordered it immediately when it went live so I want something done about this. I've put way too much time and effort into this to end up with nothing.

Me Too! I've called several times, multiple days. Sat on hold, got disconnected had to call back and wait, to get disconnected, then just get an idiot who just lies to me and screws everything up! I could have had my washer/dryer! I finally got someone willing to help, but she only noted the GC on my notes, not the price match that she promised she would send email confirmation on! I'm going back to HH Gregg!
