I ordered a movie online that I have been wanting for a while, yet have been having trouble finding. I was getting some other things when I noticed that in store pickup was available for the movie at the store I was going to. When picking up items, that have the pick ticket wrapped around them and taped to the items. When I got home I noticed that there was a yellow price sticker on it for $5 less than what the nonlinear price was. Can I get a credit for this? As long as the actual tag matches the item, there should be no problem that I know of (assuming you haven't opened the movie).  Check the receipt to make sure that it didn't ring out for the cheaper price before wasting a trip back to the store, though.  If there's a lesser price attached to the packaging (and it's the correct tag), I see no reason why the store would not give you a price adjustment.

The movie has not been opened.  The tag lists the item and SKU number on it.  Is this something where I will have to go back to the store?

Please disregard.  Per DVAL's recommendations, I kept the movie unopened yet I wanted to watch it.  So I took the movie/receipt back to the store today and they were able to help me out.

For future reference, you don't have to leave it unopened. That has no bearing on a price match...

I was happy to read that you were able to find the movie you were searching for at one of our stores. I’m sorry to see however that the item was marked at a lower price and that this had not been adjusted to reflect this in your order.

If a price is lower in store when you pickup an item than what it was at the time you ordered the item, this should automatically be adjusted in the order. I am uncertain however if the lower price shown on the movie was simply an incorrect price or if it actually was, lower in the systems. Either way, I am glad to see that the store was able to get this corrected for you when you had visited again,

When I went back to get the credit, they had their current in-store price at the price I paid for it.  Not sure where the yellow price sticker came from, but it clearly had the title and correct SKU on it, so they were able to credit the difference back for me.
