Re: Case filed at BBB MN against Best Buy MN -Part 2

Filing a complaint against the company was probably unneccesary as the community connectors here from Best Buy Corporate are as direct as you can get to resolve all issues with Best Buy in general, however, some people like to take it an extra step. Very little shoppers know about the community here, and the store I go to in my local area don't have a clue what I'm talking about when it comes to these forums. So....... I suggest you tell your friends all about these forums instead of encouraging them to file BBB complaints which strain the resolution process as opposed to getting help directly from here avoiding the filing of complaints.

Just what do you mean by "I suggest you tell your friends all about these forums instead of encouraging them to file BBB complaints which strain the resolution process." How does filing a complaint with the BBB strain the resolution process?

You're likely to get a faster response on the forums then you would from a BBB complaint. It can take 24-72 hours for the BBB to process and forward the complaint to the company, and then the formal reply process can take up to 14 days. (my experience as a private business owner)
