I ordered a phone for in-store pickup but I no longer want it. i have tried to cancel it by clicking on the link in the original email and the reminders but the link does not work. it generates an error on the processing side. How do I cancel this order?

I have been also trying to cancel an order which was for In-Store pickup as well. I have been trying since last night. Everytime I try and cancel it I get a message of "The system is temporarily unavailable" It is not my browser settings since I have tried deleting cookies etc. Please fix this.

I have an update on this.
I called 1-888-BESTBUY and spoke to someone. They told me they were unable to cancel the item and that I would have to wait for the item to be available to pick up and then I could Cancel it at the store. I'm really UPSET about this since that means an extra trip which I shouldn't have to do. I can't understand why they can't cancel the order online.

You don't have to go to the store. If you don't pick it up within 8 days, they'll auto cancel it for you.

As both of you may have been informed by our phone support team, BestBuy.com orders cannot be cancelled while they are in transit to their designated pickup location. Like Crystal mentioned, however, remember that you do have the option of waiting 8 calendar days once your order arrives if you do not wish to visit your local store or call 1-888-BEST-BUY (1-888-237-8289) to cancel your order. Any order that is not picked up within this timeframe is automatically cancelled.
