If this was true then how come the SAME EXACT HARD DRIVES went on sale @bestbuy.com for cyber Monday at a different price?

BestBuy.com does not get their inventory from the stores.

They said that they were out in warehouse as well AND i saw the item available for pickup from the same store that rejected me.

I think you should check the facts of the matter first!!

How do you purchase an item on BB web site for store pick-up???  (this item was store pick-up only-NO SHIPPING).

1. Click on item you wish to purchase.

2. Enter zip code to check local store inventory 

3. ................

How do they know which store to send you to pick-up the item you ordered ???

After FOUR tries I finally got the hard drive, but what a hassle. Looking back IT WAS NOT WORTH THE $140 savings and I am unlikely to shop at best buy again.  Would tell more but can not for 100 characters.

same... i just got it shipped from warehouse now and am not sure of the exact date of arrival but this was a terrible experience...

Would NOT buy from "Best" Buy again. Also recommending friends to do like-wise.

Got mine from the fouth in-store pickup attempt.  You are lucky about shipping.  I was repeatly told the item could not be shipped ever though emails said so.
