Hello.
I placed an order for some of the HTC Flyers. I was notified that the price was incorrect and my order had been canceled. I then received a delivery notice and UPS tracking number. A $644 hold was put on my bank account.
I called BestBuy customer Service and was informed that my order had already been fulfilled and shipped. The product I ordered was shipped yesterday and made multiple stops according to the UPS tracking site...
I just received a notice that "The shipper has requested a Delivery Intercept for this package. / Return to sender pending. "
According to UPS, BestBuy has initiated a intercept on my package to stop it from being delivered.
I immediately called my bank..... There is no longer a hold on my bank account... I have actually been CHARGED for the items now..... AGAIN.. I have already been charged for this product and BestBuy is attempting to stop the delivery which is already in-route!!!!
Suggestions?

Dispute the item with your bank as "Merchandise not received" Your account will be credited within 48 hours (business days)

The initial charge wasn't actually a charge but rather an authorization to hold the funds and your financial institution will return those funds back to your available balance on the date that THEY predetermined. They may return them sooner with a phone call from you. The actual charge collected by BestBuy happened at the time your Flyers shipped. As they have announced that there was a pricing error on that item, they cancelled all the orders they could and have actually gone as far as trying to get back the orders that slipped through before the bulk cancellation. If the intercept is successful (and many times they are not) they will refund the sale back to your debit card. That process could take some time. Really what you should be hoping for is that UPS gets the Flyers to you before BestBuy gets them. Your authorization will go back and the charge will be a successful purchase on your part. Good luck!

I just spoke with what Best Buy calls Customer Service...
I have been charged...
Until Best Buy gets the items back they refuse to reverse the charges...
The last return I made took almost a week to credit my account.....
The worst part is.. I received a notice that my order had been canceled due to a pricing error PRIOR to my order being fulfilled... They still shipped it, charged me and now will tie up funds from my account for almost two weeks by the end of this.
Considering how much I spend personally and my company spends at Best Buy, they should have sold me the items at a loss.... A lifetime of lost sales from my personal spending and company spending with Best Buy should have been considered.

Thanks for letting us know about your experience trying to get the HTC Flyer.
You may have now received an e-mail in regards to us having UPS redirect that package back to our warehouse. Unfortunately not all the orders that were made cancelled on time and some shipped out by mistake. Once the order is processed for a return in our warehouse you will receive a confirmation e-mail. At that time your order will also be refunded.
I truly apologize for all the frustration this error may have caused you.
