I've recently purchased a Recording interface from bestbuy.com. I made sure I ordered a new product. I just received my purchase today, and after some inspecting, I think my product is a returned item. Best Buy is known for selling returned items as "new", but I didn't think it would happen online. Further Proof the product is returned, is the location where it was sent from.
Findlay, Ohio which is a Return Center. I'm not sure if it's a warehouse as well, but I'm 100% sure it's a return center. Maybe sending me the returned item was a mistake? Not sure.
Does anybody know if the Findlay, Ohio is a Return Center only?
I was wondering if Best Buy could exchange my "Used" product for a New one? Are you able to send me a new one with any problems?
I regret buying this Recording audio product from Best Buy; Sweetwater or any other audio retailer would never sell a returned item as a new product.
Hopefully, you'll be able to help me.

thanks for replying. So they might have a shipping warehouse in Findlay? I don't understand why they would send me a returned product though; I ordered a new product; but this isn't the first time best buy sold me a used product as new.
are you sure they would be able to send me a replacement? Do I have to return the one they shipped to me first?
how can 1888 Best Buy help?

Yes, that would be great if they sent me a "new" replacement before I sent the one I received back, so I can make sure if the product they sent me was indeed a returned item or not. When is 1888 Best Buy operating?

Thanks for posting and I am sorry to hear that you may have received a previously opened recording interface when you were expecting a new one. I can assure you that we don’t ever intend to send used items when new ones are purchase, and I am sorry if you received an opened item.
We should certainly be able to assist you in correcting this matter. I will be sending you a private message to gather some details about your order. To check your messages, you must be logged into the forums and click on the yellow envelope icon in the top right corner.

I am so upset right now. My husband and I do not make a lot of money, we both work with youth and love what we do. I decided to go back to graduate school to get a degree in social work less than two years ago. My husband then collected money from our family to buy me a new laptop for school as a birthday gift. I was so touched. Less than two years later it stopped working. We took it to be repaired at a family repair place after best buy told me it would cost a LOT to fix and take at least 7 weeks. The man who opened it up to fix it (and was able to fix it in ONE day) called to tell me that he had to fix two things and also commented that "the computer had been opened up before". I told him NO, this way the first time we had it repaired and he said with CERTAINTY that there was clear evidence of where glue had been applied to a wire in an attempt to fix something, and even took a picture and sent it to me. I am so angry and sad that best buy SOLD US A COMPUTER AS NEW, that clearly WAS NOT NEW. I feel duped and also sad that this is the type of business best buy is. We give best buy a LOT of our business. Not only do I not want to do this anymore, but I feel as though we should be compensated for all of our troubles dealing with a laptop that is NOT NEW.
