I just applied for a best buy credit card and was approved for a 500$ limit. I want to use the card now instead of waiting for it to come in the mail. Is there any way i can get the full account info, like the card number security code and expirition date, without waiting on the card to come in the mail?  by the way it is the hsbc card.

Hi buckles62 and welcome to the forum.

It seems to me like there should be some way for them to pull up your credit card info, but there are other folks on this forum who know credit card policy better than I do who can hopefully give you a more definitive answer. When I applied for a Best Buy credit card (also HSBC) in the store, I was approved and used it just a few minutes later happily walking out of the store with a new TV. So, I know it can be done but I'm not sure if it works that way in every situation (like if you applied for the card on the internet).

Yes, there is a way.  You do not have to have your Best Buy Credit Card present at the time of purchase.  Just tell the cashier that you wish to purchase with the card and give them your Driver's License.  They will input the info on there which will pull up the card and you must input your Social Security Number into the keypad which will verify that you are the card user and you can make payment like that.
