I tried applying for the card and I don't understand why I was rejected. I was accepted by Walmart last year and I know I have pretty good credit. There was a TV I really wanted and I wanted to finance it. I would not only get the TV now, in which I can pay off in 3 months, but also build credit.
Can anyone give me any suggestions as to why I was rejected? Also, can the moderators look more into it if possible?

I believe that the Credit Card company, Capital One, should be sending you information within 30 days explaining their decision.

Thanks, this really sucks. I've been wanting a new TV for some time. Walmart has a similar TV except it's a Smart TV. I don't need it and it costs $899. The one I wanted at BB is $719 after added tax. I have a gift card as well to drop it to $619!

I didn't try to spam. I double clicked and thus two threads were born. I didn't know what had happened because I got an error. I changed the title an it worked. I was unaware that it already posted the original.

Not exactly. Capital One bought out all of HSBC's accounts which included the Best Buy Credit Card, Best Buy didn't "switch" companies.
