As much as I too am pissed off at how they would post a price for a TV and lead many MANY customers to actually order it, then change their minds and cancel it, I find it a bit weird how customers would turn their backs on Best Buy for one mistake. Sure they posted an ad, then admitted to their mistakes and not even give the customers who wasted their time any incentive or something for their error, but still...
Went around the forum and saw that many many many customers say they would never shop at Best Buy again and advise all their friends to do the same.
Is this really a good idea? In my city (San Jose, CA) The only major electronic store available now is Best Buy, (other being Frys Electronic... but that store is crap) With C!rcuit City bankrupt and no other electronic store... I don't want Best Buy gone because of an error they made.
Again.. I too am pissed at this since I ordered 2 TVs with free shipping... still find it a bit weird how they changed it from free shipping to paid shipping and not even change the price back. Or at least give the customers who ordered the TV and those who lined outside the store something for their mistakes... but I don't want the only electronic store left to close down completely.
