Beatles Stereo Boxset ? a/o 10/19

Anyone that can shed light on this, I would be most grateful (as oddly enough, I can't get to a phone to ask over the phone at present).

 

I've just noticed as of today that one local Best Buy has the "available" next to the stereo boxset.  I am still waiting for my recently re-verified pre-order to show up on my doorstep.  Since what is in the store is a higher price that what I got on my pre-order, is there indeed a process to keep my online price but arrange to get the one that is available in my local store?

Your story sounds like mine.  I ordered the same box set for in-store pick-up on 9/9.  They didn't have it when I went to pick it up that evening.

 

A customer service rep at corporate changed the order to a home delivery with a price match, but the order sat there for weeks without any status updates.

 

My local store had the box set in stock before I even got a estimated shipping date from BB.com.  They changed the order back to in-store pickup.  Too bad the item was damaged and I had to make another trip to exchange.  My Reward Zone points are still messed up.

I'm disappointed to hear that your Beatles box set hasn't arrived yet.  I would certainly share that disappointment if my long wait wasn't being rewarded!

 

You've said that your order has been extended; to arrange for in-store pick up, you would need to speak to a BestBuy.com representative about converting the order.  While this does require that your local store be in stock, it would be the next option to pursue.  If you are unable to make this arrangement, please let me know and I'll see if other alternatives exist to get you this product.  You're welcome to reply here in this thread or to send me a private message.  To send me a private message, click on my user name, John-BBY, and then on “Send this user a private message” under Contact on the next screen.

Thanks for the reply John.  I am going to confirm today if my local store still has one set in stock and then I'll call up an online representative as you suggest.
